Note for recreational divers

Although designed as a backup lamp for cave divers, its high light output makes it suitable as a primary lamp. It uses "Baby C" batteries, which are globally available and offer long runtime. Advantages:

• No need for charging or maintenance.
• One set of batteries often lasts for the entire trip.
• No issues with luggage checks at the airport.

High reliability

Shock-resistant LEDs and a pressure-proof LED head (20 bar) ensure operation even when flooded. The nickel-plated aluminum battery tube improves LED cooling, enhancing efficiency and reliability.

No control electronics

Omitting control electronics increases reliability and runtime. The lamp remains functional even with weaker batteries by reducing battery load, unlike lamps with control electronics.

Heat feedback to batteries

LED heat is used to warm the batteries, increasing their capacity at low temperatures, extending runtime, and slowing performance decline.

Can be operated with 3 "Baby C" batteries. Rechargeable batteries are possible but may require safety measures. Batteries are recommended as they do not require maintenance.

The relevance of the safety instructions always depends on the degree of difficulty of the dive and its requirements. The same applies to the execution of technical work.These safety instructions can therefore not be considered comprehensive.

• The user must always be provided with the product description.
• The product may only be used for its intended purpose.

• Never shine the light directly or indirectly (with or without aids) into the eyes of people or animals.
• Keep the lamp away from children.
• The batteries must always be removed for transportation. If the lamp is well insulated in your luggage, there is a risk of overheating if it switches itself on.
• Overheating may occur if the LED bulb is used in lamps without sufficient cooling equipment.   
• Despite the high reliability of LED lamps, it can happen that an LED fails. This circumstance must be taken into account when designing the redundancy.
• Turn on each lamp once before each dive.
• Batteries are more reliable than rechargeable batteries.
• When new batteries are used, their no-load voltage (= unloaded operation) must be measured with an accuracy of 0.01V. Note this voltage on each battery. Measure the voltage before each demanding dive. If a battery has discharged more than 0.03V, replace the entire set.
• Do not use batteries for demanding dives older than 1 year.
• Buy batteries from suppliers with high throughput to purchase batteries with short battery life.  to get storage time.
• Only use reliable battery types from well-known manufacturers.
• If the lamp will not be used for a long time, remove the batteries, because they can leak.
• Should the lamp actually run full of water during a dive, be very careful when opening, as the lamp may be under high pressure.
